“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

God is in every detail of the Christmas story. In Luke 1:37 the angel tells Mary, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” As you read the story of Jesus’ birth in Luke 1 and 2, you will see how God was in every detail of Mary’s life. God knew she would need to be encouraged and supported by this magnificent miracle in her life. He sends her to be nurtured by a seasoned godly Mentor, her pregnant relative Elizabeth.

God had a divine appointment for Mary and Elizabeth. He knew Elizabeth would be ready and prepared to pour her love into Mary. Isn’t it just like God to guide Mary to a godly Mentor in her young age and at her deepest time of need?

He knew Mary would need someone to walk alongside of her and talk with her face to face and heart to heart.

He knew in her young years she would need help to fight her fears of loneliness and the fear of the unknown.

God provided. God was in the details.

“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Psalm 37:23

Be encouraged. The Lord will direct your steps. God is in the details of your life too!

God has a special plan of hope and love to encourage His followers. He is preparing the hearts of seasoned godly women and men to Mentor others. He is also calling the younger Millennial women and men to seek guidance in a godly Mentor. Mentoring relationships are God’s way of helping others on the path to growing closer to Him.

“God’s way is perfect. All the LORDS’ promises prove true.”
Psalm 18:30

If you are experiencing loneliness or the fear of the unknown, like Mary, God is your answer.

“God so loved the world that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Seek the Lord on a day-to-day basis and He will be found. Trust Him to provide your hope for tomorrow.

Dear Lord,
You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. I desperately need your provision for my life. I long to hear from You and see You work in my life and the life of my family and friends. At times I feel so alone. I don’t know where to turn so I’m coming to You with an open hand and open heart. Speak Lord. Show me the way. This Christmas season help me to be more like You and seek You with all of my heart.
