“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

Are you bringing good news and a good attitude to the people around you or are you the person who only complains and talks negative all throughout the Christmas season?

Does your attitude need a refreshing? Today is a great day to start afresh. Why not decide right now to be the person who brings good news and glad tidings to your home, family, friends, and workplace.

The ABC family’s 25 Days of  Christmas movies are so fun to watch and will play a few reruns this year but your negative attitude doesn’t need to rerun itself again. Ask God to give you a heart full of the Joy of Jesus that will have a positive impact on the people around you.

It is always helpful for me to sing, hum or whistle the tune and words to Christmas songs during my day. Let’s try the lyrics to this wonderful Christmas Spiritual:

Go Tell It On The Mountain

Go tell it on the mountains. Over the hills and everywhere

God tell it on the mountains that Jesus Christ is born.

(look up the verses to this Christmas Song and the message it brings.)

Thought today: I can and I will keep a good attitude all day.

Action for Today: I am determined to be an encourager today to every person that crosses my path. NO MATTER WHAT!

FIVE-Minute Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:9; 44:23; 49:13, Nahum 1:14-15, Mark 5:19, Luke 2:20

Dear Lord, help me to be an encourager to every person I meet today. Give me the courage to follow your example throughout this week and all year long.
